“Due to the possibility of severe weather, the Butler County School System will dismiss students early today. All Greenville schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Georgiana School and McKenzie School will dismiss at 1 p.m. All after school programs including extended day, athletics and club meetings will also be cancelled today. Schools will resume their regular schedules on Friday, January 27, 2012 unless otherwise notified,” according to a press release from the Butler County Board of Education.

As of right now, Fort Dale Academy is remaining open.
