BREAKING: Police look for suspects in Highland Home break-in

The Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department in on the lookout for three suspects following a break-in at the Citgo in Highland Home early this morning.
Deputies responded to an alarm at 2:30 a.m., and after a manager arrived, it was discovered that a cash register was missing and several packs of cigarettes.
CCSO investigator Ronnie White said there was nothing in the cash register at the time.
He said investigators also saw evidence that an attempt was made to break into the ATM, but it was unsuccessful.
The suspects attempted to break into the gas station through the back and side walls of the building, but that was stopped when they hit a steel wall.
“When those two attempts failed, they shattered the front window,” White said.
White said there were three individuals wearing hoods and jackets.
Police are also on the lookout for an older model Chevy car that is gold or tan on the bottom with a black top.
The vehicle was seen parked across the road.
