Dear Editor,

The Charles Shepherd Family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to help our son, Chuck, during his time of hardship due to a re-growing brain tumor.

A special thanks to the Southern Legends’ Opry Band and special guest singers and Friendly G’s who held benefits to help with Chuck’s medical expenses. Thank you to all our friends and family members, the 3 Arts Club, the Georgiana Garden Club, the churches (Greenville First United Methodist, Love’s Way, Bethal, Oak Grove Methodist and Calvery Baptist) and those who baked cakes, pies, cookies, candy and donated items for the many fundraisers.

The Shepherd family is so touched by the many kind acts shown to us during this time. Thank you for your calls, cards, donations, prayers and most especially your love, support and friendship. Please continue to pray for Chuck. He has a wonderful attitude and never complains and is thankful for the many thoughtful acts of kindness he has received.
