A two-vehicle crash early Monday morning claimed the life of a Highland Home man.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. two miles west of Peachtree on Crenshaw County 30, also known as Bodiford Pool Road.

Tommy Lawrence Furr, 53, of Luverne was killed when the farm tractor he was driving collided with a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Richard Stead, 53, of Greenville.

Stead was not injured.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and no additional information is available.
