First United Methodist Church of Greenville is inviting the community to once again join its memberw for a Fabulous Fourth as they bring back their Independence Day celebration in Confederate Park on Monday, July 4.
All children participating in the annual parade around the park are asked to line up at 9:30 a.m. with their patriotically decorated bikes, trikes, wagons and mini-motorized vehicles. The parade will begin at 10 a.m.
“We’ll have plenty of children’s games and activities to follow in the park, along with live music,” said Dennis Scofield of FUMC. “And our fish plates, hot dogs and sweet tea will be offered at lunchtime.”
