Coroner confirms fatality in I-65 wreck

State Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Montgomery Man on Interstate 65 South near Fort Deposit on Monday.
Lowndes County Coroner Doris Alexander identified the deceased as Gerald James Mosley, 40, a resident of Montgomery.
She said paramedics ran a strip on him at 8:05 a.m. and she pronounced him dead at 9:16 a.m.
Sgt. Steve Jarrett of the Alabama Department of Public Safety said the accident occurred at about 6:15 a.m. on Interstate 65 South six miles north of Fort Deposit.
He said Mosley was driving one of two commercial vehicles involved in the accident and that as of Tuesday, Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
The accident had traffic on I-65 South at a standstill for several hours.
