Grace Lois Gibson, age 100, was born November 18, 1910 and died April 29, 2011 at her home in Grove Hill, Ala.

She was a resident of Grove Hill. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Grove Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Thomas L. (Earline) Gibson of Mobile; daughters, Virginia G. (Mikey) Wiggins of Grove Hill, Sue (Jackie) Duke of Grove Hill, Jackie (Charlie) Summers of Rapid City, S.D.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a very special niece, Erma Jean Colquitt of Luverne; caregivers Ganet Horn, Ann Pope and Bobbie Jackie.

She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Gibson and grandchild Tyler Stuart Duke.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill, Ala. from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.

Interment followed in Grove Hill Cemetery, Grove Hill, Ala.
