The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department’s “Pitch, Hit and Run” competition has been postponed.

The competition, which is free for area youth, was scheduled to take place today at 4 p.m. at Beeland Park Complex, but the threat of severe weather in the area has forced the GPRD to postpone the event.

The event is now scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Beeland Park Complex.
