Playoffs are over for the Tigers, after a disappointing game three versus Chilton County.
Visiting Chilton County ended the series with an 18-4 win over the Tigers.
“They were a good ball team,” said coach Brad Horn. “We were down 9-4 and left the bases loaded, but if we could have done something there, it could have been a whole lot different.”
The momentum lost by such a wasted opportunity, Horn said, lead to a 9 run rally the following inning.
Horn told his players, however, not to hold their heads down. The 20-11 record they finished with, Horn said, is one of the better records of any previous Greenville baseball squad.
