Did you know April is National Poetry Month? Naomi Pryor and her Creative Writing classes at Greenville High School do. They’ll be sharing some poetry with the public during “Poetry & Jazz” set for 6 p.m., April 26 in the GHS Cafeteria. The GHS Jazz Band will provide some cool tunes and showcase the musical talents of the band members.

“My students will be reading both their original poetry and famous poems. And we’ll offer refreshments for the attendees. This is a great opportunity to discover both the literary and musical talents of our students,” said Pryor.

On Friday night, April 29, there will be yet more talent to discover with the GHS Talent Show, set for 7 p.m. in the GHS Auditorium. For more information about these events, contact the school office at 382-2608.
