Legion yard sale returns

Shoppers browse items for sale at the American Legion’s yard sale last weekend. Due to its success, the Legion will have another sale Saturday.
The yard sale conducted by the American Legion Post No. 24 was a huge success, said Legionnaire Walter Parmer.
“Many shoppers were rewarded with unbelievable bargains,” he said.
Because of the support, Parmer said the Legion would continue the yard sale on Saturday, April 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.
“We want to thank all of those who contributed items to the yard sale,” said Parmer. “And the Legion members and volunteers who volunteered their time and, of course, all the people who came out to buy something.”
Parmer said the Legion still has an “excellent selection” of items for sale.
The yard sale is located at 100 Legion Road off Highway 10-West.
The American Legion building is behind the National Guard Armory and in front of the Fairgrounds.
