John W. Hickman, 70, a resident of Greenville, beloved father, grandfather and son, died Monday, Feb. 7. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sardis Baptist Church, Halso Mill Rd., with Rev. Steve Kopp officiating.

Interment will follow Sardis Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation was held Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include wife, Suzanne G. Hickman of Atlantis, Fla.; daughters, Stacie (Dr. M. Gordon) Whitbeck of Pittsford, NY, Jennifer Craig of Aandover, MN; son, John G. Hickman of Boca Raton, Fla.; mother, Marjorie Lee Hughes of Greenville; sister, Elizabeth KuyKendall of Opelika; brother, Joseph (Sandra) Hickman of Greenville; brother and sister-in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Gary Butterfield, Mr. and Mrs. David Gillen; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Hickman was preceded in death by his father Mr. Gerald Hickman.
