The Butler County Sheriff’s Department has busted a husband and wife suspected of two burglaries in November and December.

Both burglaries occurred at residences, one on Old Stage Road on Nov. 23  and one at Happy Hollow Road on Dec. 2. In both instances, the husband-wife pair made off with assorted jewelry and firearms.

On Dec. 12, the sheriff’s recovered most of the guns and jewelry that had been stolen and received information regarding suspects.

The information led investigators to arrest Tonia McPherson, 43, and Haille McPherson 45, on two counts of burglary 3^rd, each.
