Luman has served in that capacity since April 2009 and is now retiring.
Commission Chairman Jesse McWilliams said the announcement for the EMA job opening will be posted on both the state’s jobs website and the Association of County Commissions of Alabama’s website. Application cutoff date is Dec. 30, as voted on by the county commission. Interviews will be conducted on Jan. 10, 2011, following the commission’s regular monthly meeting at 8:30 a.m.
McWilliams said Luman will serve as County EMA until a suitable replacement is found.
