Obituary: Roberta L. Eddy Shumaker

SHUMAKER, Mrs. Roberta L. Eddy, 77, a resident of Highland Home died Friday December 3, 2010.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Dr. Mickey Castleberry officiating.
Interment followed in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Shumaker was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shumaker and a grandson, Richard Palmer.
Survivors include eight children, Sharon (Thomas) Barr, Rita (John) Adkins, Mary ( Tommy) Greene, Russell Palmer, Keith (JoAnn) Palmer, Leslie (Debbie) Palmer, Hershel Palmer and Becky (Tony) Hayward; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; one sister, Ruth (Ernie) Kalo; and two brothers, Robert (Emma) Eddy and Bill Eddy.
Active pallbearers were Danny Diaz, Justin Arthur, Michael Sexton, Michael Wood, Brian Sampley, Sean Barr, Jordan Roll and Mathew Owens.
