The Alabama Department of Transportation would like to inform the public that Wiregrass Construction Co., will begin work Monday, Dec. 6 on the planing, resurfacing and traffic stripe of State Route 10 (US 29).

The limits of the work will be from east of State Route 9 (US 331) at Milepost 148 in Luverne to Milepost 150.

The length of the project is 1.952 miles and is expected to be completed within 30 working days.

The contractor will erect advance construction warning signs to advise the traveling public of the construction work zone.

The contractor will also utilize portable signs and a pilot car to safely guide motorists through the construction work zone.

Motorists are urged to reduce speed and use caution when traveling through and around the equipment and workers.
