New clock installed for Luverne

After months of waiting, the City of Luverne’s new clock was installed Monday morning and should be functional soon.
The city council approved the purchase of the clock from the Verdin Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in August.
Much of the $19,811 cost of the timepiece was obtained through grants.
