Voncile Mattie Gandy, 84, a resident of Greenville (Liberty Community) died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Liberty Baptist Church with Revs. Johnathan Dukes and Randy Sexton officiating. Interment followed in the Liberty Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing. A visitation was held Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include: son, Bobby (Johnnie) Gandy of Greenville; sister, Mary Simmons of Greenville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
