Eloise Maye Jones, a resident of Pigeon Creek, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 1 p.m. from St. Francis Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Lewis, officiating minister. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery, Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directing.
Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish her memories seven children, Louis (Joyce) Maye, Greenville, Theresa (Sanders) Tate of Durham, N.C., Lucretia Jones and Alicia Jones, both of Rochester, N.Y., John Henry Jones Jrs., St. Mary’s, Ga., Loney Pearl Bonnick, Greenville, Thomas Anthony Jones, Rochester, N.Y.; three sisters, Mary (Clinton) Briggs, Greenville, Helen Maye-Hannah and Pearlie (Bennie Sr.) Ridgeway of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Freddie L. (Flora) and Zebbie D. (Sarah) Maye of Deltona, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Lessie Maye-Wright of Rochester, N.Y. and Alam J. Maye of Greenville; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
