Funeral services for the late Mr. Willie Earl Steele (60) will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from College Street Church of Christ, Bro. Bishnoo Rampersad, Pastor. Bro. William Rudolph, officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Alabama directing. Mr. Steele was born on May 27, 1950 to the late Mr. Robert and Dollie Steele. He departed this life on August 18, 2010 he is preceded in death by two brothers Freddie Lee and Eddie Roy Steele six aunts, six uncles, and grandparents, Albert (Endy) Steele, and Mr. Nathan (Mariah) Toles. Mr. Steele was a faithful member of the Hickory St. Church of Christ. He worked with the late Mr. Leo Crenshaw also Mr. Don Crenshaw and Elder Walter Stone as a professional carpenter. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Cynthia Marsh Steele, to this union no children was born. Two sons, Rodney and Cornelius Johnson four grandchildren, all from Greenville, Alabama two sisters, Betty Ann Turk, Montgomery, AL; Linda Steele, three brothers, Robert Jr., James Steele, all of Greenville, AL; Frank Albert (Monica) Steele, Canton, OH: three sister-in-laws, Bridget (Tyrone) Williams, Youngstown, OH; Katrina and Joy Marsh, Warren, OH: brother-in-law, Otis (Karen) Marsh, Seattle, WA; four aunts, Sarah Steele, Greenville, AL; Betty Toles, Trenton, NJ; Ann Toles, Buffalo, NY; Celestine Jones, Austin, TX; two uncles, Phillip Toles, Roy Jones, both of Buffalo, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, his devoted friends, Danny Crenshaw, Elder Walter Stone, Charlie Mae Marsh, the late Fred (Susie) Works, Louise Cook, Don Crenshaw, Mary Simon, Eddie Roy (Booger) Lewis, James (Mander) Murray and many more. Special thanks to Mrs. Willie Nell Steele, Luverne Nursing Home Staff, Ty (Rose) Williams, Bobby Powell, The staff of Alacare, Ruby Jenkins, and New Bethel Christian Church family. Family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Cynthia Steele.
