Parents, grandparents and guardians of special needs children: a one-of-a-kind opportunity is returning to Butler County on August 28. That’s the date the Butler Baptist Association has set for their Special Needs Vacation Bible School. The event, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. until noon, will be held at First Baptist Church in Greenville.
“Our VBS is open to all special needs children from 1st grade through 12th grade,” said Meg Stringer, VBS director for the BBA.
“Our theme this year is Saddle Ridge Ranch, with all the gorgeous vistas and wide open spaces of Big Sky Country awaiting our students. During their day at the ‘ranch,’ the kids will get to visit Worship Rally Valley and Bible Study Bunkhouse. We will also have special activities for the children, featuring fun, food and excitement, all geared toward the special needs child.”
Pre-registration is requested in order to maintain a head count and to know what each child’s special needs are. For more info or to pre-register, contact the Butler Baptist Association at 382-2513 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, or email the information to butlerbaptist@camelliacom.com.
