Drug charges on a McKenzie resident have been dropped, said police chief Clint Reaves.
All six charges against John Reynold Jr., who was originally charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to commit controlled substance crime, have been dropped. Also, all charges on Ila Tetter Day, who was arrested for three counts of distribution of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to commit controlled substance crime, were dismissed.
Police chief Clint Reaves said after reviewing the case, law enforcement felt it was not strong enough.
“I don’t think he was actually the one doing the selling,” Reaves said. “When they dropped the case against her, they dropped it against him.”
