Funeral services for the Talbert Taylor were held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Hudson Funeral Services with Rev. Willie J. Nicholson officiating. Burial followed in Pine Top Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services directing.

Mr. Taylor (“Uncle Tontie”) was born in Greenville on July 30, 1932 to the late Talbert and Alberta Taylor. He was fondly known in Greenville and surrounding areas as “The Coca-Cola Man” and worked for the Coke Company until retirement. He was preceded in death by sisters, Fannie Taylor and Carrie Mack; brothers, William, Edward and Roosevelt Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Albert, and one sister, Allie Mae Allen, both of Greenville; a devoted nephew, Tony Taylor and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
