Air Force Staff Sgt. Jamila A. Davis has deployed overseas to serve in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Davis, an aviation resources management journeyman with four years of military service, is regularly assigned to the 15th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.

She is the daughter of Johnna M. Davidson of Sandcut Road, and Joseph A. Davis of Commerce St., both of Greenville, Ala.

Her husband, Jamaal, is the son of Bunia Maxwell, also of Greenville.

The sergeant graduated in 2005 from Greenville High School.
