University of Alabama Athletic Director Mal Moore will be the special guest speaker at the UA Butler County Alumni Chapter’s annual meeting on Thursday, Aug. 5 at Cambrian Ridge golf course.

President William Davis said the evening will start with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. with the program and dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person and includes annual dues. Moore has served the University of Alabama as a player, coach, and administrator for over 40 years.

“We invite all Alabama fans to attend this meeting,” said Davis. “Coach Moore will update us on all athletic programs at the university and give us a preview for the upcoming football season.”
