An 18-wheel trailer carrying fuel overturned after it and another vehicle collided on Highway 55 and old U.S. 31 outside of McKenzie on Tuesday at noon, blocking the highway for over two hours as emergency workers from Greenville, Georgiana and McKenzie worked to clean-up the spilling fuel. Emergency responders pulled the driver, Tony Moore, 34, of Andalusia, from the wreck, but his condition was not known at press time. The driver of the other vehicle, Bobbie Joe Carroll of Samson, was uninjured, said McKenzie Police Chief Clint Reaves, and issued a citation for failure to yield at the right of way.
