A Mobile woman was fatally injured in an a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 65 Monday afternoon, said Alabama State Troopers.

Kelly Gary, 50, died when her 2003 Ford Explorer overturned two miles south of Georgiana. Her body was transported to Johnson Funeral Home.

The initial investigation indicates that Gary’s vehicle was traveling south on Interstate 65 when she ran off the road, said Troopers, and Gary attempted to bring the vehicle back onto the roadway when she lost control, overturned multiple times and came to rest on its top.
