Louis T. Spann, age 71, a life long resident of Greenville, and recently of Hope Hull, died Sunday, May 16 in a Georgiana hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with Reverend Felton Stewart and Reverend Darrell Paulk officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation was held Tuesday May 18, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include: sons, Glean Spann of Greenville and Michael Span of Mississippi; sisters, Mary Ernestine McClellan of Brewton, Jean Lois Dean of Hope Hull, and Linda Carol Salter of Brantley; six grandchildren.
Mr. Spann was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Maddox Spann, Father and Mother Cecil and Lois Phillips Spann, and brother Floyd Wayne Spann.
