The National Day of Prayer will be observed on May 6 at noon on the front steps of the Greenville City Hall. This year’s theme will be “Prayer For Such A Time As This,” using Nahum 1:7 as the focus.

Those scheduled to participate include Tim Patton, Dexter McLendon, Allen Stephenson, Marc Gibbs, Allen Winn, Bob Garrard, Danny Dean, Carolyn Griffin and Lane Simmons.

The Seven Points of Prayer will be observed, along with Scripture reading and song.

The public is encouraged to attend.
