Steve Harmon of Greenville and Tommy Thompson of Forest Home were elected to the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives’ Board of Directors April 1 during the association’s 63rd annual meeting in Montgomery.

Harmon, executive vice president and general manager of Pioneer Electric Cooperative, will serve on the association’s legislative, member services and strategic planning committees. Thompson will serve on the association’s governance and public relations, and legislative committees.
