James Alfred “Jim” Taylor, 64, of Andalusia, formerly of Georgiana, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at his residence. He was a graduate of Auburn University and retired from the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations.
Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Friday, November 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Georgiana.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Lindsay Taylor of Gulf Shores; daughter Hayden Taylor Davis of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; three grandchildren, Emery Davis, Jamison Davis and Caroline Taylor, and his long-time special friend, Frankie Lancaster, of Andalusia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Alfred Taylor Sr. and Mildred Taylor.
