Mr. R.E. “Buddy” Moorer, age 76, a resident of Greenville, AL, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009.  Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 16th, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. Tim Patton officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
Mr. Moorer is survived by his wife, Ollie Moorer, son, Bowden (Mary) Moorer of Navarre, FL, daughter, Lisa (Paul) Stafford of Benson, NC, grandchildren Taylor, Hunter, and Chander Moorer of Navarre, FL, Graham and Shanks Simmons of Greenville, AL, sister, Margaret Donaldson of Honorville, AL, brothers, David (Sarah) Moorer of Valdosta, GA, Danny Moorer of Georgianna, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in memory of Mr. Moorer to First Baptist Church, 212 Ft. Dale Road, Greenville, AL, 36037 or Fort Dale Academy, 1100 Gamble Street, Greenville, AL, 36037.
