Linda J. Bender, age 64 a resident of Greenville,died Monday ,November 2, 2009. Funeral services will be held Wednesday , November 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. from The Walnut Street Church of Christ with ministers : Jack Cates and Charles Box officiating. Interment will follow in The Antioch East Baptist Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A 1 hour Lie in Repose will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include : husband : Roy C. Bender , Greenville; daughters, Betty ( Chris ) Stabler , Ft. Deposit, Susie ( Thorn ) McIntyre , Greenville and Pam ( Tim ) Holp , Greenville;
stepdaughter : Beth ( Joe ) Fox , Murfreesboro , Tenn; sisters, Mary Nell ( Coleman) Cates, Montgomery; Betty ( James ) Hobbie , Greenville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bender was preceded in death by her son , John W. Lowe.
