Come one, come all: show your hometown spirit and celebrate your favorite team next Thursday, September 10, as “Spirit Night” comes to downtown, courtesy of Greenville Main Street.

The event is slated for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday. Commerce St. will be blocked off from the Ritz Theatre to Video Warehouse during the event.

According to Main Street director Nancy Idland, attendees can enjoy festive food, live entertainment, karaoke, face painting and more fun and free activities. Stores will also stay open during Spirit Night to offer customers a chance to browse and buy. Local clubs and organizations will also have displays at the event.

“We have a wonderful evening planned, so put on your favorite school’s colors and come out and celebrate with the community at Spirit Night. Discover just what our city has to offer and enjoy a good time with friends and neighbors,” Idland said.
