4-H youth travel to Leadership Conference
Four Crenshaw County youth recently participated in the 4-H Youth Leadership Conference.
Pictured from left to right are Cassidy Catrett, Elizabeth Bush, Cameron Catrett and Alex Wilcox who traveled to Columbiana for the conference held on August 29-30.
The girls were involved in Team Building activities with nearly 80 youth from all around the state. A variety of workshops were conducted including archery, leather crafts, storytelling, and fisheries education. Participants were also
involved in a community service project where they made cards for the VA hospital.
The youth participated in a birthday bash and carnival to celebrate 100 years of 4-H. Melissa Bush and Ashley Catrett, 4-H volunteers, enjoyed the weekend as chaperons.
All four girls attend Brantley School.
