During the month of June, Colonial Bank in Luverne served as the collection site for Support Our Troops.

“The generous people in the Luverne area provided several boxes of items that are being sent to the troops serving overseas,” Jarod Griffin, Colonial Bank Branch Manager, said.

The items collected included nonperishable items such as dental floss, tooth brushes, batteries, coffee, peanuts, popcorn and beef jerky, just to mention a few.

Colonial Bank would like to thank all those who made donations for the troops.

“We would also like to send out a special thank you to all the troops who have served this country,” Griffin said.
