Swann Maraman, 67, a resident of Georgiana, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in a Mobile hospital. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Van Sims officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include: daughter, Dana Nixon and Trey Vinson, both of Georgiana, and Brooke Haney of Sweet Water; sons, Richard Howard VanCor of Tuscaloosa, Raymond VanCor , Scott VanCor of Greenville, Patrick Vancor of Montgomery and Clay Turner of Georgiana; sisters. Ann Whitehead of Montgomery and Renee Powell of Greenville; brothers, Dickey Maraman of Troy and Melvin Maraman of Millbrook; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
