Mr. Charles Cook died Friday, April 3, 2009. Funeral services were held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. from First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. R.F. McCreary officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Service directing.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Juanita Rith Cook; two loving sons, Darryl (Shana ) Gregory, Charles D. Gregory, both of Greenville; three loving daughters, Debra (Willie) Taylor, Montgomery; Courtney Manuel, Mobile, and Ebony Oriel Cook, Greenville; three brothers, Willie (Diane) Cook, Bernard (Elaine) Cook, all of Buffalo, NY, and Henderson (Myra) Cook, of Pensacola; four sisters, Dorothy (James) Loveless, Birmingham, Gladys (Clemon) Cook-Hosie, Mary L. (James) Lewis, all of Pensacola, and Lena Cook (James Smith) of Rialto, Calif.; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Robinson and Betty Abrams, three brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Gregory, Robert (Betsy) Gregory and Gomas (Emma) Gregory; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, two special friends, Clarence (Gip) Gibson and Tim Silas, Pensacola.
