2009 Achiever Award Nominees

Achiever Award nominees and their parents met on Monday night at Beeland Park to sign-up for interviews in preparation for the award ceremony on May 7.

28 seniors from schools in Butler County are competing for this year’s Achiever Award, which is awarded annually to the leading male and leading female scholar athlete through a joint sponsorship by the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greenville YMCA.

The awards ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7 at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Greenville, is open to the public. Tickets are $15.
