The Georgiana Panthers held their football awards banquet Thursday night in the auditorium.

Although the main focus of the night was the football team, the band and cheerleaders were also recognized for their year of hard work.

Collecting awards for the Panthers were: Chan Lowe – best offensive lineman. Lamar Crittenden – best defensive lineman.

Deven Cheatham – best offensive back. Damien McIntosh – best defensive back.

Rashad Brundidge – best linebacker. LaCory Savage – best wide receiver.

Deven Cheatham – Most Valuable Player of the Year.

Kevin Brogden was given the Coaches’ Award and Chan Lowe, Rashad Brundidge and Kevin Brogden were named team captains.
