With a win against Andalusia on homecoming last week, the Greenville Tigers broke the .500 mark for the season, and they’re looking to move to 4-2 against Wilcox-Central this week.
The game is a region matchup for the Tigers.
“They’ve got a lot of kids that play both ways,” Blackmon said. “I think they’re better defensively than offensively.”
Blackmon said the Jaguars like to bring pressure on the defensive side of the ball.
“I know I say this a lot, but they’re a very athletic team and they run well,” he said.
The Tigers made it through homecoming against Andalusia with no major injuries, only a few bumps and bruises.
“We’re going to take a look at our opponent this week, but our main focus is still on us,” Blackmon said. “We’re still working on ourselves, and our goal is to be better this week than last week.”
The Tigers will play against Wilcox-Central at 7 p.m. Friday night in Camden.
