Jackson, William Earl, 65, a resident of Georgiana, died at his residence on McKenzie Grade Road, Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007. Survivors include daughters, Ramona (Carnell) Wilson and Angela Jackson both of Georgiana; grandchildren, Amber, Jessica and Zachary Wilson, all of Georgiana; sisters, Jean Cowart of Georgiana, Elaine (Roger) Reaves of Andalusia, Ruby Worley of Opp; aunt, Annie Laura Caine of Greenville; former wife, Ruby Jackson of Georgiana and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Oscar Jackson and Bertha Miniard Jackson and brothers, Gerald Jackson and Don Jackson.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Terry Cook officiating and Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation was Thursday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 11, 2007, at Johnson Funeral Home.
