The following complaints were filed at the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office during the period from August 21 through August 27:

August 21
n A complaint was filed for possession of marijuana, second degree, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on I-65 northbound between mile markers 121 and 124. Items recovered included $5,968 in cash, one set of electronic scales, valued at $25, plastic wrap containing a green, leafy substance, valued at $25, and one pack of Swisher Sweets containing two cigars and a green, leafy substance, valued at $51.
August 22
n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, at Freewill Baptist Church. Items taken included one blue jean purse, valued at $25, three credit cards, one driver's license, and a social security card.
n A complaint was filed for harassing communications, third degree, on Halso Mill Road.
August 24
n A complaint was filed for theft of property, second degree, on Happy Hollow Road. Items taken included one 16' flatbed trailer, valued at $1,000, one yellow water tank, valued at $200, one pressure washer, valued at $400, one air compressor, valued at $300, and one black tool box with hoses, valued at $280.
n A complaint was filed for the illegal manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance on North Street in McKenzie. Numerous items, with a total value of $400, were recovered.
August 26
n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief, third degree, on Salter Road in McKenzie. One doorframe received $100 in damages.
n A complaint was filed for disorderly conduct and harassment on Highway 106 West in Georgiana.
n A complaint was filed for lost property at the Butler County Motor Sports. One Motorola flip phone, valued at $50, was taken.
August 27
n A complaint was filed for assault, third degree, and harassment on Poole Road.
n A complaint was filed for the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Old Stage Road. Items taken included one CD player, valued at $150, and one speaker, valued at $30.

August 24
n Kathy Armstrong, 42, was arrested for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court for NWNI.
n Roger Armstrong, 44, was arrested for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
August 26
n Harold Dewayne Crossan, 48, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
n Jason Earl Jernigan, 29, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree, and harassment.
August 29
n Latrice Daniell Norris, 26, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
