GEORGIANA-Mrs. Annie B. Mixon, of Georgiana, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2005.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the College Street Church of Christ with Minister Bishnoo Rampersad officiating. Burial followed in Pine Level Cemetery in Georgiana, with Hudson Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Mixon is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bro. Hilton Mixon, of Georgiana; seven daughters, Audrey Coney, of Georgiana, Tessie Walker, Gladys (Theodore) Bell, Essie Mixon, all of Pensacola, Linda (Bishnoo) Rampersad, of Greenville, Tilda Marie (Willie) Henderson, of Phoenix, and Yvonne Mixon, of Greenville; two sons, Alvin (Lois) Mixon Sr., of Detroit, and Don Ray (Gladys) Mixon Sr., of Evergreen; one close nephew, Thadis (Lois) Williams, of Montgomery; 26 grandchildren, Wendell, Anthony, Marion, Angelo, Vera, Cynthia, Jerry, Theresa, Alvin Jr., Yolanda, Keisha, Melissa, Brandon, Latasha, Linda, Don Jr., Robert Jr., Malinda, JaColby, Delois, Kenny, Lori Ann, Rosa Lee, Eric, Loretta and Theodore Jr.;
37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one brother-in-law, Ervin Mixon, of Detroit; four sisters-in-law, Lorene Joyner, Leanna Gandy, Annie George, and Lillie (Henry) Pugh; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Mr. Leon Mixon.
