Eagles victorious on three different nights

On three separate occasions the Fort Dale Eagles hosted opponents at home, and all three nights, sent them home with their tails tucked between their legs.
Starting on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Eagles faced Monroe Academy, and reigned the champs on both courts, boys' and girls'.
For the Eagles, Fort Dale scored 56 points, to Monroe's 46.
Adam Crenshaw led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Justin Pierce with 15 and Josh Till with 10.
For the Lady Eagles, Meridith Mosely scored 29 of their 44 points, and made 12 rebounds, to lead the team to victory against Monroe, 44-33.
On Thursday, Dec. 7, For t Dale hosted Sparta Academy.
The team from Evergreen was defeated by a score of 56, 44 Fort Dale.
Justin Pierce took the lead with scoring, making 12 points. Josh Till was next, with 10 points.
For the Lady Eagles, Meridith Mosley again was the big point achiever with 24 points, followed by Ashley Paulk, who took credit for 12 rebounds. The Lady Eagles won with a final score of 56-44.
Woodvalley Road was once again the site of a matchup on Sunday, Dec. 10 when the Lowndes Academy Rebels came to Greenville to face the Eagles.
For the boys, it was Adam Crenshaw that led the Eagles to victory, scoring 10 points, including two free throws when the clock was down to three seconds left.
The final score was Fort Dale 43, Lowndes 41.
The Lady Rebels were a little stronger than the Lady Eagles on this night, and the final score was 53-37, Lowndes Academy.
Meridith Mosely led the scoring with 16 points.
When the three nights were through, the Eagles ended with a record of 7-2, and the Lady Eagles 6-3.ON Dec. 15 and 16, Fort Dale Academy will travel to Faith Academy, to compete in the Christmas Tourney. Opponents there will be Faith Academy, Tuscaloosa Academy, and Mobile Academy.
