Emily Lincoln, Sydni Boutwell, Elizabeth Lincoln, Laura Jones and Blake Townes of Southside Baptist Church will be busy helping a worthy cause with a “bird-brained” fundraiser in the coming month. If you see a plethora of pink flamingos posing in front of area homes, don’t be surprised. “Flamingo-A-Friend” is back, courtesy of the Southside Baptist Church’s Relay For Life Team. Members of the church’s youth group are lending a helping hand as they assist the birds in migrating from house to house all over town. If these beautiful pink feathered friends land in your yard, all you have to do to get them moved is give a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society - and tell the SBC Youth where to deliver them next.
