On January 30, Greenville Middle School's Quiz Bowl "A" team traveled to LAMP High School for the Alabama Scholastic Competition Association (ASCA) District Tournament. The team returned home with 5 wins and 1 lose, making GMS the 2nd place team and giving the team a bid to State. The team will travel to Hoover High School on March 6 for the 2010 ASCA Middle School State Tournament.
