William Terry Golden

William Terry Golden, 65, of Greenville, died Sunday, February 17, 2008. Chapel services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home, with Dr. Paul McLendon officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the funeral home.
Mr. Golden was preceded in death by parents Joseph Emmette and Bertha Duke Golden and wife, Paulette C. Golden. He is survived by daughters, Tracy (Tom) Hanrahan of Hoover, Beth (Greg) Jones of Millbrook, Marcia Golden of Raleigh, N.C., grandchildren, Brooks, Ryan and Emily Hanrahan of Hoover, and sister Marie Shirley of Greenville.
Mr. Golden opened Greenville’s first FM radio station WKXN and later purchased WGYV AM. He was an on-air personality in Greenville for 37 years, and served as the longtime voice of Greenville High School Tiger Football. Mr. Golden was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville,
Camellia City Civitan Club,
Greenville Jaycees, Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and Greenville Water Board.
Pallbearers are Bob Meredith, Ransom Siler, Bob Morris, Rickey Shirley, Scott Shirley and Paul Shirley.

Johnny Wayne Wesley
Johnny Wayne Wesley, 54, died Sunday, February 17, 2008.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lane Simmons officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to services.
Mr. Wesley is survived by his wife, Sheila Wesley of Greenville; daughter, Cam Alaye Moorer of Fort Deposit; son, Triston Judd Wesley of Greenville; mother, Gloria Wesley of Greenville; brother, Clarence Andrew Wesley Jr. of Greenville, and several nieces and nephews. Fred Henry Riley Jr.
Fred Henry Riley Jr., 82, of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 in the Delta Healthcare Facility in San Destin.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at the Santa Rosa Community Church with the Rev. Pete Hyde officiating.
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. at the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Riley of Santa Rosa Beach; son, Jack T. Efird Jr. of Birmingham; stepson John G. (Leah) Ralls Jr. of Pensacola; stepdaughter, Lesa (Tim) Johnson of Bella Vista, Ark.; grandchildren Hannah Johnson, John Perry Johnson, Rob Johnson and Katherine Ralls; sister-in-law Mary W. Riley of Greenville; a nephew James W. Riley III of Dothan and niece Lamar R. (Bill) Murphy of Rochester, N.Y.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents Fred H. and Lois B. Riley, stepmother, Marguerite Riley, brother James W. Riley II and his wife Vivian M. Riley.
Pall bearers were Paul Enzor, John Ralls, Tim Johnson, Bill Murphy, James Riley and Bob Worlund.

Anthony &uot;Tony&uot; Morgan
Anthony &uot;Tony&uot; Morgan, 52, died February 14, 2008. Graveside and burial services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville with James Herbert Funeral Home directing.
He was born August 5, 1955 to the late Lizzie Morgan and Arthur J. Morgan in Greenville. Mr. Morgan attended Lomax-Hannon Junior College from 1975-1977. In 1980, he joined the U.S. Army.
Tony married Teresa Marsh and from that union, two children were born.
He leaves to cherish his memories his one son, Anthony Morgan Jr. of Valdosta, Ga.; one daughter, Stacy Morgan, of Greenville; one stepdaughter, Shanekia Marsh of Valdosta, Ga.; one loving sister, Betty Davidson of Greenville; one brother, Larry Morgan of New York, NY; one special nephew, who was always there for him, Patrick Davidson of Greenville; eight grandchildren, LaQuanda Cannon, Corderious Wilson, Antonio Blackmon, Anthony Morgan III, Titiana Morgan, Mickeal Blackmon, Precious Marsh, Dionekia McHenry; one great-niece, Tiara Davidson; one great-great niece, Tyara Malisham; two aunts, Betty (James L.) Smith of Georgiana and France (Herbert) Shine of Greenville; a very devoted cousin, Jimmy L. Thompson of Anchorage, Alaska; a very devoted friend, Michelle Herbert; a godmother, Marilyn Malisham and Regina Malisham, two special friends, Martha Jackson, Catherine Patterson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cecil Jackson Posey
Cecil Jackson Posey, age 64, a resident of Lapine, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Leverette officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation was held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. February 18, 2008 at the funeral home.
Survivors include: wife, Bonnie Posey of Lapine; children, Kevin (Alisha) Posey and Gerald (Renee) Kelley, both of Lapine, and Susan (Kenny) Frazier of Honoraville, Julie Kelley of Luverne and Stacey (Keener) Kelley of Highland Home; two sisters, Mary Whiddon of Marietta, Ga., Lois Saucer of Greenville and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
